A few years ago I stopped drinking.
Mostly.
I've shared a glass of beer with an old friend, and a couple of bottles of soju over dinner with the wife and a different friend this year, which reaffirmed that I'm just not into it anymore.
Alcohol has always made me feel sleepy, and if I pressed through that into drunkenness, the next morning I'd wake up in a gloomy, depressed mood every single time.
So I threw in the towel.
I didn't know how this would go over, as the wife drinks and so do all of my friends, and I enjoy hanging out with intoxicated people.
So I started mixing colourful, fun drinks, first for the wife and then later for friends.
Gotta have some music in the background for that sort of thing.
