We put a lot of thought into the playlists Lolakana publishes; there's all sorts of rules I have, but some tracks just aren't appropriate for the gym.
Cannibal Corpse and Lil Kim?
Matter of taste.
The album cut of More Human Than Human?
Not for the gym.
You don't ever want that look from a parent—real or imagined—during family training time.
Two of our instructors asked if we had clean playlists. I went through our catalog and pulled everything that fits.
25+ playlists—Afrobeat, Funk, Goth, House, J-Rock, K-Pop, Jungle, and more.
Simple rule: if it has an explicit tag, it doesn't make the cut.
One exception: NWA's 'Express Yourself' made the cut. It's clean, it's classic, it's awesome and works for family training.
If we got something wrong, let me know in the comments or come settle it on the mats and lets solve this with a friendly roll.
(Zach will fight you.)
